It would appear so. Wayback machine looks for "BattleGalleons.swf" but it is not on the server any more.Apparently there was a battle galleons game made for the ride's launch in 2008? Is it lost media? I know a lot of Flash stuff is.
I'm sure she's already had a look, but she's more than welcome to use any of the photos over on the main site. I think the only one on your list I don't think we have anything for is the Thunder Valley Entrance. There are a few of the rides on your list where we pretty much have the majority of the photos that are publically available. Rides like the Alton Mouse and Alpine Bobsleigh, there are a seriously limited supply.Hey all,
Hoping some peeps here might be able to help.
My daughter is currently at College doing a Creative Media Course. For her final Project she is doing a History of Rides at Alton Towers (she absolutely loves the park). She has been able to hunt down video / phots footage of many of the older rides / areas rides but is either completely missing a few or has very little off and I'm hoping some people here might be able to help.
The following she is missing / has very few off are..
Alpine Bobsleigh
Black Hole
Alton Mouse
Blade
Cred Street
Nickelodeon outer control
Thunder Valley (Photos / Video of the Entrance)
Gloomy Woods
She has found everything that there is on YouTube which isn't much to be honest.
Any help would be greatly appirecated.
Many Thanks
You know there a few Alton Towers attractions that very little footage or Pictures from there relocationsI'm sure she's already had a look, but she's more than welcome to use any of the photos over on the main site. We also have one of the videos of Nickelodeon Outta Control, though I suspect she will already have seen that if she's been hunting Youtube.![]()
For Alton Mouse it's worth looking at the various 80s videos on Youtube of the place. Some segments have bits of the Mouse. She might have seen them all though if she's had a good scour around. There was a bit of an amateur POV of the mouse on there in one of the vids I think (I uploaded it years ago after someone sent it to me). Not sure if I might have pulled it though for whatever reason.Hey all,
