Reading a TV magazine, I've just noticed that AT will be appearing on Channel 5 show When There's Blame, There's a Claim, on Wednesday at 9PM. Description:

They've had their sympathy, they've had their time. It was awful, yes, but now they're just in it for fame and the money. They've become desperate to cling onto their 'fame' and will do anything to promote themselves. It's hard to find any more sympathy for them

Apparently it also features the helicopter medics who responded.

I've seen this program being advertised on TV for the past few days.

The Birmingham mail has publish on-line this article about it, discussing the compensation amounts

    http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/showbiz-tv/alton-towers-smash-victims-reveal-13242045

"Alton Towers crash victim Joe Pugh has received his final settlement from the theme park – while his girlfriend will have to wait until next year for her compensation.

Joe, who broke both kneecaps and had his little finger snapped off by The Smiler ride accident , has received an estimated £100,000 pay-off, while Leah Washington, whose left leg was badly crushed and amputated above the knee, should receive more than £2 million.

The pair both feature in a new Channel 5 series, Where There’s Blame There’s A Claim, which examines compensation cases."

Looks like there's gonna be some kind of segment on SW8 on Central News ITV this tea-time. Looks like a bit of time-lapse footage or something.

I’m waiting too, but I haven’t seen a new episode in many years so I think we are out of luck.
