Imagine missing Corkscrew off this list. Although it was rough as anything.
I'll vote for Ripsaw. I also rode Toyland Tours, Haunted House, Bone Shaker and Black Hole but my memories of those are hazy as I was quite young. Ripsaw was great fun and a very different ride experience to most of the others at Towers.
Submission was awful.

Nobody actually mentioned missing (or missing out on) the Corkscrew in the other thread, so I didn't think to add it to the poll!

Black Hole was fantastic family ride.
Through my crystal ball Id day Haunted House and Toyland Tours too.

Other way round for me.Thunder Looper. Black Hole a close second.
The dancing fountains in a shed a close third, favourite rest stop, bit like the train at Blackpool.

I only visited in 2009 for the first time so the only rides i can think of that have been removed since then which i went on are Submission, Ripsaw, Sub Terra, CATCF, Twirling Toadstool and The Flume - to rank (in my opinion) I'd say:
1. Sub Terra
2. The Flume
3. Ripsaw
4. Twirling Toadstool
5. Submission
6. CATCF
1. Sub Terra
2. The Flume
3. Ripsaw
4. Twirling Toadstool
5. Submission
6. CATCF

Black Hole for me, a true classic.
Don't quite get the Ripsaw hype, the ride was pretty dull for s top spin. The sequences on Rameses Revenge were much better.

I think it’s because it’s only Alton Towers rides we’re talking about here. I’m sure the Mouse would top a fair amount of the lists in here if we were talking more widely! You missed Blackpool Mouse off the list or is that still a sore subject for some
Controversially, my favourite closed Alton Towers ride, of the ones I’ve done, is actually Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! I always found it so magical, and even in its final years, it was something I really enjoyed riding! I hope that some day, a family dark ride of the same vein replaces it!

I feel special.Following on from Heidi's post, lets have a poll of the popular closed/refurbished rides.
Voted Ripsaw because that and Submission are unfortunately the only ones I've actually been lucky enough to go on. I really miss the both of them. I only got to ride Submission once before it closed and it was one of the first (if not the first) "bigger" rides I ever went on since I'm pretty sure it had a lower height requirement. It gets a lot of flack on here but because of that I have a very fond memory of it! (Especially since I didn't find it nearly as scary as my sister who rode it with me and is 9 years older than me
