Excuse me if this is a repeat but I have searched for this but cant find the forum...

I'm bringing a friend to the park for the first time who's from America, he's not small in the waist and really wants to go on all the rides...

I'm a rugby player / gym junkie and I don't fit on Rita with my chest size (52") so I understand his worries. (Not that it's a big deal!) However I fit on stealth which is odd.

What rides are able to accommodate larger people and where. He particularly wants to go on the smiler. I think Air/Galactica would be out for him.

I've never been on wickerman as it's always closed when I have gone on my trips. 4x now!!!!

Thanks in advance.

There's info here on Towers' website;

Nemmy, Galactica, Oblivion, Rita and Wicker Man all have test seats.

Nemesis and Oblivion have bigger seats with double seatbelts, you can ask the ride host for these.

The Smiler is probably the most accommodating ride on park so that should be fine.

Wicker Man, Th13teen and Galactica can all be restrictive so might be a struggle. Wicker Man and Th13teen might have more of a chance.

Rita can be hit or miss, depends on your build.

Spinball I wouldn't bother.

Thanks for your help! I know smiler is his #1 must do so that's good. I can't wait to get back on nemmy!

On a different note slightly - how’s Paultons? Weight hasn’t been kind to me and can’t get on Galactica anymore

Hi all a report from me I thought I'd let you know how I got on:

Current stats: 53" chest and 32" quads with a 39" waist and I'm 6'3". I'm a rugby / gym goer and I love rides! I don't have much luck yesterday:

Galactica - nope - test seat
Oblivion - Big Boy but my chest and shoulders felt crushed! (Didn't fit in standard) Oblivion has big seats in middle with 2 seatbelts.
Smiler - Nope, legs were too big
Nemesis - Yes - standard seat with a push and no blood to legs. Big boy seat (row 5 - outside) very comfortable.
Curse - easy no issues.
Rita - nope gave up at test east, legs to thick.
Wickerman - nope that's ridiculous! They should have had big boy seats. Saw so many turned away from it at test seat.
Didn't try toxicator... That's embarrassing if u can't fit on and it had alot of downtime.

Are there big boy seats for GCI millennium flyers?
I am aware AT have the version without seatbelts (quicker dispaching) I wonder if that makes a difference, although the main manurfacture I know who consistently have big boy seats (appart from their flyers) are B&M who are extremely accommodating, if I recall correctly the red bracket on the back of some seats are for harneses to allow those with missing limbs tp ride.

You didn't go for the runaway mine train knee-crusher then. I'm 6ft1 with spider legs and it's always done a number on me.

I don't know how big my quads are though as I'm not Hulk Hogan so have never measured my muscles...
