For Valhalla not to be open there is either an issue they can't resolve or it is due to lack of finances.

If you look at the evidence and information available then go with the most likely option you won't often be wrong.

In this case we have a park that is cutting costs wherever it can at every turn . Staggered ride openings and closings. More rides closed midweek and park hours regularly reduced from their original advertised times.

COVID will have delayed things and there have also been delays in shipments due to Brexit, but weighing everything up I think it's hard not to assume that the main reason Valhalla is likely to remain closed this year, is unfortunately down to a lack of finances.

Saturday the 30th now also 9pm instead of 10pm

And as before it still says 10pm on the calendar so if you book via the link on the calendar you won't see it's now a 9pm close.

They are still selling evening tickets for £29 -- that's from 6pm . So 3 hours !!

And added to the 30th of July, the 29th of October is now also showing as a 9pm close on the booking page.

October 29th is a fireworks night so presumably most of the rides will now actually shut at 8pm on that night. And they are still selling evening tickets from 6pm for £29.

10am till 9pm is still much better than Towers offer in fairness. If either of those parks needs extended opening hours it's not PB as you can usually get on rides much quicker than you can at Towers.

I get why people are cheesed off as it's advertised at one thing and they do another.....but an 11hr day on the PB is surely enough for anyone.

Thinking of taking our six year old to the pleasure beach this week, but reading horrendous reviews over the last week of long queues, dirty environment and closed rides. Is it worth it for a little one at the moment?

Seems very quiet today. Best bet is to monitor the queue times online for a day or two this week and make a decision based on them. Personally? I'd wait until September and do it on a weekend.

With current short queues and half decent weather, I would say yes...
Streak, Alice, Flying Machines, River Caves, Wallace, Derby Racer, train, and all the stuff in Nickland, plus Avalanche and Steeple if brave enough, probably a better day out that being beaten up on the coasters as an adult!
Go for it, give her a treat.
Just eat at 'spoons for lunch!
