Awesome, how would a Wallace and Gromit themed coaster fit into the park

Wasn't the price of the tilt coaster one of the reasons it didn't go to the park it was supposed to? I can't imagine it being cheap

A tilt was proposed for Energylandia, however this deal never ended up going through but the same layout ended up getting purchased as a brand new model for Six Flags for their Mexico park, but the Tilt wasn’t built in Mexico because of planning issues around trees, and Cedar Point needed a quick investment after the disaster of TT2.

It’s a misconception that the Energylandia’s tilt is Siren’s Curse. Vekoma’s new-gen coasters are meant to be more affordable models compared to other manufacturers still.

Pleasure Beach need something marketable and that will sell itself, they’ve recognised the need for new investment and a big Vekoma would go a long way in complimenting Aviktus and Icon.

Tilt coasters are always going viral on social media! Imagine the tilt track looking out towards Blackpool Tower and the Irish Sea…

Anyone been on Nash since it reopened? I imagine it’s exactly the same. They could’ve pulled the weeds out from under the track of the home stretch while it was shut

They were too expensive at the time and parks that could afford a tilt coaster could get a B&M Dive Coaster which has higher capacity and better.

Really hope Nash work is ongoing project for a full refurb repainted all the track and retracking the entire ride

I agree... retracting the entire ride would be a positive step.

Just tried it. It feels smoother than it was, but it's certainly not smooth, if that makes sense. It is running MUCH slower than usual, it's barely getting back

I imagine they’ll have done the absolute bare minimum in terms of whatever retracking / maintenance needed doing.

I’d be extremely surprised if they do much more than that. Most of the ride isn’t even visible from inside the park, there’s no way they will be repainting every piece of timber on it

Come on dippy...
The park stopped painting the adult woodies with white paint about a decade ago...paint can hide the rot, simple as that.
Bare or barely painted wood means you can spot the rot easier and quicker.
Paint concealing rot was an issue with the flying machines as well a few years ago...allegedly... regarding the main support uprights.
That and the fact that it saves them a bloody fortune in paint and painters.

No, the queue had just been evacd for some other kind of tech mishap. The empty test run was so slow it barely cleared the anti rollbacks, took about 5 of them to push it into the offload position

Potential guests have been turfed out the learning garden for the sake of some new greenery:



Not quite sure what the rubble pile contributes to the landscaping, but I'm sure there's a plan.

• The last wall standing on Bowl a drome has been knocked down
• Very subtle change on PB Express, the old diesel pump on the wall has been removed in recent weeks.
