Blackpool Pleasure Beach: 2025 Discussion

Even better (worse) than that, just look at the advert itself.

Unless you know what Aviktas is (and therefore don’t need to be made aware of said new ride) this advert is pretty much meaningless to the vast majority of people. It doesn’t even mention that it’s a new ride, let alone what it is.

It’s just the same depressingly slap-dash, disjointed, poorly thought through, amateurish effort that we’ve seen from the marketing department for years. Almost as if we’re watching a recurring episode of The Apprentice where nobody learns from their mistakes.

Please, Pleasure Beach, if you’re going to drop £8m on an excellent piece of ride hardware, at least sort out the marketing for the investment so that people know you’re doing something exciting and good. You could even tell them that it’s a new ride and when it’s going to open.

Unless it’s just a teaser at this stage?
a teaser for what though,

They have shared the cgi footage of the new ride, the sign doesn't even say about a new ride.

to the average guest they will see AVIKTAS and think what? new ice show? new theatre show?

if there is a next part when it comes to the park, those people are gone, you have lost their eyes they would have forgotten this random sign in their trip.

Alton did something different for nemesis, but the signs said area under investigation, themed to the phalanx, with QR codes allowing for further details

You can’t tease something that you’ve already issued multiple press releases for, including a full visualisation and animation.

Even if it were a teaser, and those press releases hadn’t been issued months ago, you’d need to make it clear that it is a teaser, otherwise as has been said it can easily be interpreted as promotion for a show, a restaurant and any number of other things. You need to tell people it’s a new ride coming in 2026.

Sky force is also currently testing.
Any suits near by i.e potential buyers?

Edit*

Doubt it's coming back the park updated the app today and it hasn't been added to the ride line up. despite the fact Launch Pad was on the app while the ride was still going through it's re brand/refurbishment, same with the nash this year
