Blackpool Pleasure Beach: 2025 Discussion

Aviktas is looking... Something.
To correct my previous post, the pendulum is gold. Supports are dark grey. They look a bit darker than Icons colours, but that might be a difference in years of weathering and UV

You can see it from the promenade if traveling southbound, but not really from the other direction which I found quite surprising (I imagine it'll be easier to see whilst actually running)

I still feel that the best option would have been to place the swing where Launch Pad is. Launch Pad actually takes up waaaaaay more space than it needs. It could ahve easily fit in that spot. Would make that entrance area feel more active.

Then ice Blast could have been taken down, refurbished at ground level (save on scaffolding costs), and rebuilt in a smaller space elsewhere in the park.

You'd also then be able to walk 360 degrees around the gyro swing too.

Anywhere sane would have scrapped Ice Blast and built a new tower in the new location.

So not BPB then.

From TPWW's construction update, the swing arm is in!

By the way, I've seen a lot of comments on social media moaning about how "it doesn't look tall"... It's worth noting that 138ft is the height of the gondola at full swing; the structure itself is 88ft.

Any ride looks small Standing next to Big One. Like Infusion is quite a tall ride on its own but looks small standing next to Big One

This looks absolutely stunning, can't wait to see this in it's full glory 😁

Especially after doing Loke earlier this year

Come on then, who's got deep pockets?

£50 to be one of the first on Aviktas before it opens, a further tenner to upgrade to a normal eticket (if you're not a passholder).

Sounds one hell of a lot like it won't open on opening day 2026

Probably better value to go ride it at Liseberg 😛

Black friday...season pass 130, last day and fireworks two for fifty quid.
One day left, often big reductions in the shops, especially with dated food stock.

Oh the cheap mr funshine shortbreads I have purchased in bulk in the past!
