Blackpool Pleasure Beach: 2026 Discussion

They were both poor rides.
That is why you just don't see them any more.
They died off for a reason...few people actually went on them.
Good in the rain for shelter, and that is about it.

Waltzers give a far superior ride.

Quantity ride Pleasure Beach still does alright, has plenty of coasters, dark rides and flat rides.

But the aging nature means the quality of some of them just isn’t there, when you combine that with the not keeping on top of maintenance, and that the SBNO rides are still there as a reminder, there’s so much room for improvement.

I still think Pleasure Beach look after their main 3 Tracked Dark Rides well theu always look fresh.

Some ride didn't last long at the park Spin Doctor and Bling being two examples of this

No offence meant, and this probably should be in the pet hates thread. But if the word you are looking for is "have" then please use "have" and not "of".

Spin doctor caused many problems due to an appalling throughput for a flat in a big park...three hour queues on peak days.
Bling was constantly breaking down, and in the Mandy era of rapid closures.
