Blackpool Pleasure Beach: 2026 Discussion

Ant & Dec were apparently on Icon earlier this week, and all will allegedly be revealed on Britain’s Got Talent later tonight

(I won't be watching, though, so if anything interesting or relevant happens on the show then please report it here!)

On a sidenote: I didn't realise that the front seats were lower down than the rest of the train

YES! Just what the UK's single mothers and broken families were asking for - Ant and Dec on a rollercoaster! I have GOT to see this!

They aren't the only ones.
Front seats of each twin car are lower than the rear, all down the train.
Was it always that way, or was it changed afterwards (or only on certain trains)?

Maybe I'm wrong, but photos on Google seem to show that the seats were once all (mostly) at the same height (other than a minor step difference of a few inches)? (see below)

Looking at the Ant and Dec photo again, it seems that the row behind them is quite low down as well, so it must be the entire car (row 3 and behind are much higher up).

In that case, I don't understand why the front two rows in the Ant and Dec photo are so low down

I wonder if it's part of a gag where they roll off by themselves (hopefully never to return! just kidding)

They're the same height as the other odd numbered rows on the train. Camera can make things look odd, especially as the ones behind are restraints up so look taller.
