Oh, I don't want any one to think I'm defending his actions.
I've just been told off in the past for "celebrating" a death, and wanted to spare others that indignity.![]()
I'm afraid I have already celebrated his death...and will continue to do so.
I did twenty odd years of work with abusers and the abused.
There is lowlife, and then there is the scrapings off the bottom of the pile.
I'm afraid even his family will be happy he is gone, after the repeated gross out crimes he did, over years, unchecked, from a position of power over his worshipping fans...controlling and abusing from on high, even his own bandmates hated him...before his crimes were unearthed...and the local police knew for years as well, so they can hang their heads still too.
He continued grooming from within prison, and committed further offences while incarcerated.
We can all celebrate the fact that we no longer have to pay for his incarceration, for what could have been another half a century more.
That has saved us half a million quid of taxpayers money, when the nation is already skint...and has better things to spend the money on.
The exception proves the rule... once in a while, speaking ill of the dead is absolutely fine...and the words need to be said.
I don't condone cold blooded murder, but that is the lesser crime here.
Let him rot.
