Chessington World of Adventures Resort

The weight will make sure it completes the circuit. Empty trains do run when testing but don't want to risk one train blocking the line! Seeing some videos from the behind the scenes tour it seems a real burden to get the ride operating. It's a labour of love the park are stuck with I guess until they decide to upgrade or replace it
Stuck with it, well, actually lucky to have such a well loved and popular ride in the park.

Some of the Flat rides that aren’t listed on the plans need to be Re-themed and sent to AT ASAP it’s got past the point desperation with the Blade potential on its way out. Areas like the dark forest would seem far less depressing if they got even just the jungle bus or swinger as filler rides, Chessington have a lot of variety and some new attractions coming in! I think Merlin need to really thing about 2025 across all there parks!

Why wouldn't Chessington keep and reallocate the bus? Monkey Swinger is 25 years old next season and wouldn't survive a move I imagine

Ug Swinger moved to Cloud Cuckoo Land and became Twirling Toadstool at 25 years old. Theoretically, I can't see any reason why it wouldn't survive a relocation.

I think space will be the concern and if there isn't space at Chessington, Thorpe and Alton may benefit from it.

Maybe this is why Project Pivot hasn't used the whole beach? 🤔 Or it could be part of the Slammer or Miss Hippo sites?

As they have no need for it having already another similar ride? It is quite common for Merlin parks to move rides accordingly they have in the past?

I’ve seen a lot older rides been repurposed at other themeparks around the world even old Ripsaw from AT pictures have surfaced which is beyond me.

At desperate we’re take both please for now!

Ripsaws remains were used for parts. Very different idea.

The Bus has very limited capacity, something Towers need a lot of. Better off buying a proper Magic Carpet.

Chairswings are available new from Zierer for not a lot. You might be desperate, but logic disagrees with the idea. A double buy of a Chairswing and the largest Magic Carpet would make sense. Rubbish from the scrap heap does not.

Bus in newish and cheap filler to move to say CBeebies but not a big numbers churner. Swinger might as well buy new. Towers needs a lot of supporting rides on to top of the SW stuff. Having coasters is great but Thorpe seems to have the balance right

I actually think Monkey Swinger could be a brilliant fit for World of Jumanji in terms of both theme and thrill level, but from memory I'm not sure if there's physically enough space in the area to fit the ride in, which is obviously a dealbreaker.

Stick it on the roof of the Mandrill station :D

It’s more like a plaza than a full on area. I knew it was small but didn’t realise how small until I saw it in person.
Although on Google Maps Jumanji looks only slightly smaller size to Wild Asia. I'm guessing the main issue is that the wing coaster takes up a lot of space. If they had gone with a better coaster model it would have worked much better.
