Problem with Vampire it was designed to run 3 traind and Dragon's Fury has a maximum weight due to valleying riskI'd say with the jaguar head theming and the gameboard aesthetic, I'd say it has been done right.
I'd say there could've been more Jumanji theming on the rides although it fits in it's jungle theme.
I can't help but say that there is something missing with the area.
Whether this is Mandrill Mayhem not being directly themed to Jumanji or the area possibly needing one more ride (either something that is stand out thrill like a Gyro Swing or a Sky Fly or one that is available for families with slightly younger children such as a Jet Ski), I do feel it isn't quite complete.
For what the park is aiming for, I'd say Jumanji is the right step towards the right direction.
I won't go too much into the coaster being a shuttle coaster and how it could've been better as a full circuit two train coaster as Mandrill Mayhem seems to be proving to be the ride that has the least queues and the better operations out of the lot with the worst being Vampire and Dragon's Fury.
I'd say that once Minecraft opens, I'd imagine that will offer a smaller queue than Vampire and Dragon's Fury once the hype has calmed down.
I'm not sure that it will for a while with Minecraft's popularity as I'd imagine it'd be what Hyperia is to Thorpe Park due to the IP.
That is getting consistent queues and is attracting people internationally to the park (what Thorpe Park follows up with will be interesting to see)

Even the imperial version was better than Gruffalo still fun with the great music and intresting aspects, Gruffalo has less going on then BubbleworksThe Imperial Leather version was a travesty and destroyed everything the original was.
Gruffalo at least removes that terrible taste from the mouth.
It's sad to see Wardley toeing the party line again and it being taken as gospel.

I think this new coaster can be really good when Merlin want to they can do some really great theming
I'm very optimistic. I imagine Minecraft will be heavily involved considering they're contributing to financing it which you'd hope can only positively influence the level of quality.
How many trains could this ride have because it needs to be high capacityI'm very optimistic. I imagine Minecraft will be heavily involved considering they're contributing to financing it which you'd hope can only positively influence the level of quality.

Looking at the layout and plans, it seems to be using similar trains to Uncharted which is a 12 seat train with 3 rows of 4.How many trains could this ride have because it needs to be high capacity
Checking the layout itself as it stands on the plans, I'd say there is a possibility it could feature anywhere from 6-10 trains at once at a glance, possibly more.
At once, this would be between 60-120 people. This could be anywhere from 720pph to 1440 pph depending on how many trains there are on the circuit.
I'd like to think with Minecraft, it'd be a higher capacity rollercoaster due to the potential popularity it'll have. I think it's the golden egg for Chessington.

A jungle, perhaps? I say again, you do not enter that part of the park and think “wow, I’m immersed in Jumanji” in the way Chessington used to immerse you à la Mystic East or Calamity Canyon. Instead, you’ve got a good impression of Wyevale that will never grow into anything remotely like a jungle (slightly problematic for this particular IP) and lots of highly visible wire fencing. It just looks a bit crap.I'd say with the jaguar head theming and the gameboard aesthetic, I'd say it has been done right.

Looking at the disgusting behaviour happening at some screenings of the Minecraft film, I wonder if they might be reconsidering this project?
No. A few badly behaved kids/teens won't prevent them for pushing forwards given the likely cash cow this will be.
IP around a single ride never really works IMHO. Look at super-immersive IP areas like WWoHP, Star Wars, EPCOT, etc. Not just immersive, but tell a story, are relatable and much more than just ride theming. Restaurants, entertainment, merch all add to the theming.
Before WWoHP Universal were a bit hit and miss, but I think they have seen the light. What's that?? A wand, gown, scarf, some Butterbeer and money from Gringot's - $150 please! Hold on, haven't even got on a ride yet??
CBeebies, Lego, and Peppa Pig are great examples of how to do it - but still a long way off from what Universal will hit the UK with.

Hmm...

The plan I've checked was from Attraction Source's article on the coaster plans which include possible layout.

Chessington submit plans for new immersive land featuring a rollercoaster
Last week, Chessington World of Adventures Resort submitted the full planning application for Project Refresh & Renew. The project will see both the Wild Asia and Explorer Glamping areas of the Resort removed and replaced with a new immersive land featuring a new rollercoaster, indoor immersive...

That's not the only bit it's more going to be about the theming this coaster reckon its gonna be a minecart theme, looking forward this especially how big the budget is for this entire land.
My only complaint is we are loosing Monkey Swinger the water squirting wave Swinger, maybe one day it will find a new home, preferably at Towers in the Dark Foresf

Monkey Swinger, the ancient chairswing.
Is not as old as you think it opened in the year 2000 making it only 25. Twirling Toadstool was much older being 33. I would send Monkey Swinger to Towers just to bolster their ride lineup for a bitMonkey Swinger, the ancient chairswing.

That's very very optimistic. Personally, given that this is Chessington, I'd expect to see no more than 3 individual ride cars.
