Chessington World of Adventures Resort

It puts into perspective how big this is for Chessington, this must have been a hard sought after IP, and with a global fan base, and Chessington being in London, this really could have a global reach, certainly the right IP to get people wanting to combine it with a Universal trip when that opens.

As long as they do it justice. The didn’t do Jumanji justice in my eyes.

Does strike me as mildly entertaining that two IPs that have had Jack Black as a leading star are coming.

I think this could be a big success for Chessington.

Certainly, the concept art looks quite good if they manage to pull it off! And I can't imagine a top-dollar IP like Minecraft will let Merlin scrimp...

Towers dropped the ball.... Or the block
Not too sure I agree,

I think for 2 reasons:

1. This land really needs flat open land for all of the show building, themeing, etc (assuming it is done properly) something which is at a premium at towers, and I doubt much of the available places would do it as much justice.

2. Placing a globally recognised IP in the middle of nowhere, with no public transit links when a massive brand is moving next to 3 of their parks would probably not be the best move (especially consider chessinton has better transit links)

Also I wouldn't really want the IP at AT

I agree if it looks rubbish they really will be harshly judged. They have to get this right if they want Chessington to be that accompanying park.

Sorry for the double post, but I have to agree with this. Towers needs to keep its own identity, with it thriving off its own themes and brands, Chessington being the better linked park makes sense to use for this kind of thing. It's sensible business.
