I disagree, Merlin can do good theming when they want to and Minecraft company would be expecting high qualityIt should be a slightly cheaper less moving props Nintendo world.
It will end up looking like the set from scrapheap challenge.
Mark my words.

But how will it last that’s the real question..I disagree, Merlin can do good theming when they want to and Minecraft company would be expecting high quality
Keep in mind Mojang did approve and release “A Minecraft Movie”, which while has made a lot of money, I don’t think much people actually enjoyed from a quality standpoint

To be fair, Minecraft is the one IP where Merlin can put down shipping containers, crates and vinyl, and still have it be Disney/Universal quality when it comes to immersion.

What was the last high quality themed “non station” building, built from scratch at Alton Towers?

Looks like Mandy could be kicking herself for not opening a Paw Patrol attraction at Pleasure Beach

That explains that weird flat ride (the A one) it looks like it is the air boat
Could be colourful Family a lot like Cbeebies Land the kids will like it and still fits with World of Adventures tagline of Chessington.
Because you are entering a different World

I find it a pity that IPs like this and Minecraft are going to cause Chessington to lose its identity and perhaps its soul. But you know full well they will be popular, and that is all that really matters.
I mean that pretty much happened with Imperial Leather Bubbleworks.

Universal is different as they've always been an IP park, but I wish Disney still went with some original IPs like they used to, largely in the pre Harry Potter at Universal era. Disneyland was not built upon IPs at all!Nothing wrong with IPs if done well and several have, you don't complain about Universal and Disney using IPs so what's the difference tagine Chessington World of Adventures still works as your visiting Different worlds
IPs are part of theme parks now, and I am accepting of that. Jumanji as an IP at least fitted in with the overall Chessington brand. Mexico being replaced with Paw Patrol, well, not so much!
So you give Chessingron a cold shoulder for trying to do something different it's World of Adventures different worlds which still fits with IP a different world.Universal is different as they've always been an IP park, but I wish Disney still went with some original IPs like they used to, largely in the pre Harry Potter at Universal era. It's not just Chessington that uses IPs a lot of other parks do to. Mexicana in Chessington the past few years has been quiet plus with only 2 attractions not a whole lot to do down there
