Downtime 2012

Looking though the list of downtime, I do wonder how much is down to outside influences that don't jump out as such.

when I worked in industrial maintenance. we would have machines fail after heavy driving rain, as the sensors would fault. it would be interesting to know what the weather was like when the downtime happened.

When I was there, it literally didn't stop raining all day and so it was partially understandable why an older ride like Nemesis would struggle to cope with it.

Oblivion was down on Tuesday & Wednesday of this week;

Tuesday; Most (Not sure if 'all) of day
Wednesday; Morning-Early Afternoon

Apparently it needed a new motor, which I belive has now been fixed.

Rita's launch cable has snapped this morning so I expect it will be down for a while.

Rita was down on Sunday for a hour and had to get free passes as I was just about to get on after waiting half an hour to get there and wait for the ride to open again. It took 2 more rides on TH13TEEN for it to open again.

RMT opened 55 minutes late and the Blade was down 3 times too.
