Drayton Manor Park

Foods always been expensive in the UK Drayton is not alone the reason is quite simple supply is not reaching demand and import costs have increased in price.

Their food is pretty decent though their Pizza is really good quality and a good size

Aww bless, you are nieve. No, the prices are so high because it is an easy win for making easy money.

We buy food in bulk, wholesale prices are dirt cheap.

The pizza (usually) is high quality and worth the cost. Other options? Not good

As an aside. Alongside Operations the park have a serious issue with visitor behaviour. I’ve had 4 trips in a row with terrible ASB so we just don’t bother anymore. Daughter is getting enjoyment from WMSP so at least the pass isn’t wasted but won’t be renewing this year end. For the first time in 4 years.

Things haven't changed much at Drayton.
Back when the Pirates Adventure was alive, we used to eat...once in the visit, at the burger place by the Pirate Adventure.
Always took an hour to get served, the food was poor quality and very expensive...more than Alton, and we always had one person to queue, while the rest went on another ride...or two...while the poor individual queued for six burgers and chips.
We camped on site, and very quickly resorted to "Back to the tent" for decent food.
Twenty five years of progress.

The only time I eat at the park if I’m there to late. Like they got another 9pm ride close on Saturday which is excellent but again ending the night with a fireworks event which is pointless as it’s still light at 9pm.
The big difference to Drayton Manor to Alton Towers as the car park is less than a 5 min walk away lots of families have a picnic by there car or they bring the food into the park later but at Alton your more than likely to eat in the park for how much time wasted getting back to the car to get the food.

Yeah... No. There's no excusing it. I'm sorry, you can't bash Aramark for £15.00 for a burger, chips and a drink and accept Drayton Manor Park and Zoo's £16.50 for the the same, with similar varying quality.
Just an out there thought, could Aramark be behind Drayton's catering operations?

I thought that they and BPB's are the same because the chicken bites they sell at both parks are the same.

I enjoy imbibing goose food, as much as the next goose. The persistent stench permitting through Drayton Manor Park and Zoo is enough to @rob666 blush.

Aramark do not provide catering options for Drayton Manor Park and Zoo, they also do not provide their own produce. Aramark, like most UK catering companies (including Drayton's own) will either use Brakes, Bookers or MKG (with Bookers being owned by Tesco). That's why their base ingredients for ready made food will be the same.

We obviously have never met in person.

You forget my occupation, I hit cat turds with the big strimmer...for fun.

And back on topic...I don't suppose they let you wander round the rides in the middle of the night any more when you are camping, do they?
Murder in the dark with a couple of torches...for years and years.
I still know where the bodies are buried.
