Energylandia (Poland): New Coasters

Aqualantis is a weird one. The themeing thats there is really good but it's so isolated and dead.

I wonder I'd they would consider building an alternative entrance at that back end of the park to spread the crowds?
Pretty sure from walking into the dead end last year that once this land of chocolate area opens up that will connect with a path into that side of Aqualantis.

Yeah it's quite obvious that there's going to be a circular route. Do we know for sure where the tilt coaster will be built?

The management team have clearly stood around the mine train and had the realisation that it really does lack theming. So, they appear to be installing some. Or perhaps it's the initial works on a junior boomerang? They're long overdue one.
Believe it'll looking like a big mountain of choco-chip cookies when finished.

Everything about Energylandia shows that they don’t see the value in intricate, layered theming. They seem to install it because that’s just what you do, rather than understanding the reasons for it. That’s led to the hotch-potch that now pervades the park.

If they’d just slow down and spend a little more money and time on finishing the more intricate theming details and ensuring it’s theming for a reason, the park would improve exponentially.

So this was (kind of) covered by reading people's trip reports from last year - but does anyone know if all ride offerings are part of the Winter program in 2022 eg will Zadra and Hyperion be open - planning a visit for late November.

Is there a better way to buy tickets than on the Energylandia website (like attractiontix) their website seems so shonky!!

I recently bought a couple of two day park tickets, absolutely no problems whatsoever ordering through the website, what is it about it that you are finding shonky?

One thing though you might want to use the Chrome browser and have it translate to English if you need help with some pages. You can also buy park tickets when you are there in Zator at Western Camp for example (who sell them at slight discount). I’ve just come back from the park, it’s absolutely fantastic by the way.

Well - I want to buy a 2 day ticket for the Winter event but from what I can see you can only buy 2 x day tickets?

It looks like they only sell single day tickets in Winter Kingdom event (that runs from Nov 6th to Jan 8th). They are 100 Zloty so that works out at about £18 Just but two of those, job done.

The Winter Kingdom event is priced cheaper than regular season tickets anyway but just be aware that it looks like any water based rides will not be running but most of the other rides will be. £36 for two days of riding Zadra, Hyperion, and Abyssus sounds pretty decent!

Full list list of attractions that will be running here, looks like it’s just Speed, Anaconda, and Jungle Adventure for the main rides that won’t be available.

Nice one thankyou - don't think I'd want to be doing Speed at the end of November anyway!!

Great day on park today, despite being somewhat worse for wear after too many Negronis and Old Fashioneds last night.

I've driven when visiting previously, but today opted for the coach which was £7 return from Krakow. Entrance was £33. £40 all in is an absolute steal for this place.

The park is immaculate, if not unimaginative in some places. No concerns on ride maintenance or anything along those lines.

I didn't really care for Hyperion last time I rode it but enjoyed it much more today. It and Zadra are a phenomenal one-two punch. The first drops on both of them are insane - like the pound under Kwarteng, they just keep falling.

Scariest ride will always be Speed. Being restrained in something that floats that was designed by Intamin is inherently petrifying.

Rode all the big coasters and a few smaller bits too. I am not a flats person at the best of time but especially not today. The Booster crew were dealing with a protein spill every time I went by.

I think everything was running all its trains at one time (maybe bar the SLC, not sure). Ops are generally very good. The locker situation works great.

There are some real cultural differences that I don't recall being as prominent previously. No security check on entry, people wandering around with (cheap) cans of Tyske and staff weaving in and out of punters at breakneck speed on various vehicles.

This place is bonkers, but it's a great day out.

Guessing Sweet Valley will be a 2023 opening now, makes sense to spread out ride openings a bit more now.
Saw on some videos from IAAPA in London Vekoma saying Circuit Breaker at Cotaland was going to be the first tilt coaster to open, so seeing as that probably won't be til next summer at the earliest you'd think the Energylandia one would be for 2024 by this point.

Sweet Valley looks to still be a way off. The junior coaster was parked at the top of the hill and the mine train was being worked on. Some of the buildings and theme elements are still bare metal skeletons.

Forgot to mention, I grabbed some English maps, if you want one and trust me with your address, PM it over and I'll happily oblige.

Talking of cultural differences I find it funny that in one of the shops there you can buy an Energylandia branded Swiss army style knife, couldn’t imagine something like that being sold at a UK theme park!

One of my favourite memories from my last visit was coming off a brilliant night ride on Zadra and getting a lovely Polish wheat beer called Ksiazece Zlote from the King Arthur Pub and then drinking it whilst taking a stroll through the underpass back to Hyperion whilst the security staff weaved in and out of the crowd on their Segways. The atmosphere was just buzzing in the park on an evening. There’s a nice selection of beer stands all around the park, just feels right to grab a brew and chill between rides every so often.

My other favourite quirk of the park is their passion for building a set of stairs that crest before you have to walk down another set.

There's a point in the Zadra queue where you walk down some steps for it to level out for 2 metres before you climb the same height again.

And the Hyperion queue which is basically a telling of the Grand Old Duke of York.

I quite enjoy the Zadra pre queue queue where you go up, walk past some cattlepen and then back down again.

Or the Abyssus bit where the stairs could use some decent step edge marking.

Hyperion has the weirdest queue, luckily was only 3/4 open when we visited.
