I think I just put in my original non-steam activation code into Steam and it re-installed it

I'll have to have a go on this multiplayer thing at some point, I've stuck to single-player thus far

Does the Multiplayer work with the non-steam version of this game, or is there a way of converting the non-version to the steam version?

You might be able to add the non-steam game into steam. So download steam and tell it to add a non-steam game to its library. That said, Im sure they devs of the multiplayer have said it doesn't support non-steam versions.

Sorry for bumping this old thread, but i've just got my ETS2 playing time up to 500 hours!
Just shows how much I love playing it. Commitment, eh!
