I know that this is going to be a slightly biased one on an Alton Towers forum but I'd be interested to know people's opinions. So what's your favourite B&M inverter? Feel free to discuss more than one if you're undecided. I haven't added a poll because there's way too many for me to remember.

    1. Alpengeist
    2. Nemesis
    3. Black Mamba

Alpengeist is just incredible. Nemesis is as well but it's just too short IMO.

I added a poll, with the maximum number of poll options based on the top inverts from the last Mitch Hawker poll. Can't say fairer than that! And before anyone says, Monster and Raptor are both there as one is trimmed at the MCBR and one isn't ;)

Interesting. I couldn't vote for my favourite one as Dragon Challenge Hungarian Horntail (I think that's it's name) isn't on there.

So I voted for Katun which is my second favourite. Fantastic layout, doesn't feel at all restricted and a very intense first drop. First class Italian coaster. Montu would probably be my third. Black Mamba is very good but slightly over rated in my opinion.

My vote is going to Raptor. I have been on Monster and it is good but Raptor is a lot better later in the day when it has warmed up. Because Cedar Point have better throughput and much longer hours it really does make a difference, it probably helps that the MCBR hasn't been used both times I have been to CP

If possible additional votes would go to Montu then Katun

Katun and Montu are both outstanding coasters. It's interesting that people seem to prefer the larger scale versions to the compact Inverters like Inferno and Mamba. I tend to agree with this in most cases.

If people want to rank all they've been on I can do a mini Mitch Hawker poll on it, otherwise Nemesis will win by miles as it's the only one we've all done.

Raptor gets my vote, but I've not done Monster or Pyrenees

Nemesis always. But... the Batman clones are superb.

I've never really understood how the Mitch Hawker poll works to be honest. But I can rate all the ones I've been on?

Hmmmmm I do question the reliability of the Mitch Hawker poll tbh, I know that a lot of people on here swear by it but I know that numerous enthusiasts don't take part and I've heard that it's possible to vote more than once which kind of suggests that's it's results won't always be 100% a reflection of how the majority of people feel.

Nemesis gets my vote with Montu a very close runner up.

I think they are both fantastic but nemesis wins my vote simply for how much it packs into its relatively small size.

Not managed to make it onto any of the others on the list (yet!). Only others I've been on are Nemesis Inferno which comes third but in my opinion isn't close to those two and Dragons Challenge back when they were Duelling Dragons and IoA first openened and rather embarrassingly I can't really remember what they were like.

    My list is embarrassingly short,
    1/ Nemesis Towers
    2/ Nemesis Inferno Thorpe

I should be getting at least one new inverter cred this year though

List of inverters I want to do
    1/ Black Mamba
    2/ Oziris
    3/ Dragon Challenge
    4/ Montu
    5/ Monster
    6/ Katun
    7/ Batman
    8/ Raptor
9/ can't think or anymore, bah

I've only done Nemesis, Black Mamba and Inferno so it's a no brainier for me.

Nemesis has a fantastic layout. The other two are fairly bland and don't do much for me. Inferno starts off well with the pre-lift section but I have to give the distant second place to Mamba as it does at least look stunning.
