I saw an article online about this and it took my mind off the current s*** show we’re currently in.

People in horror films who run at Olympic speed from the killer who has a leisurely stroll, but still manages to tower over the victim the second they trip on a twig.

That one British character in a US film is either an evil villain or a quirky glasses wearing intellectual.

    Anymore?

Quick, we must escape...let's run up the stairs and hide in the attic. Going out the front door would be a little more sensible.

I think the original Scary Movie shows it all really well, people running to danger rather than safety, they never seem to call the police or anyone, etc.

The inclusion of nonsense technology, especially in terms of evidence gathering in crime storylines, in films which are otherwise set in the real world in current times. Yeah, we'll just 'clean up' and 'enhance' this 1 pixel screen grab of a number plate half a mile away from a crappy CCTV camera. No. No you won't.

Talking of the British guy in American films, Why do they always seem to use cockney slang, or put 'flaming' / 'bloody' in every sentence:rolleyes: "RUN ITS THE COPPERS"

Not saying 'bye' on the phone.

Casually walking away from an explosion annoys me too.

In science fiction "Reversing the polarity" to save the day !

Bad guys that can never shoot straight and manage to hit every object surrounding the person they are aiming at without actually hitting the person.

Groups of bad guys that take it in turns to attack the hero and are despatched with a single blow - why don't they all attack him at once ??

Attractive 8 stone women that couldn't fight their way out of a paper bag, but still manage to beat up large groups of bad guys single handed - who again only attack her one at a time and are rendered unconscious with the slightest of touches.

Car crashes that result in massive explosions for no apparent reason.

Never getting so much as a scratch when jumping through glass windows.

People who are about to get murdered who shout, "It's you".

People who solve murders using some kind of psychological mumbo jumbo, where they've allegedly understood the killer's mindset. But where they're not using real psychology. They're just making lots of guesses that by some kind of strange coincidence all happen to be right.

I’d like to add when police spot a subject and shout ‘oiii police’ giving the person ample time to run off out of sight.

Not a film but I used to watch The Bill and it annoyed the hell out of me.
