Fireworks 2025

Yeah the vast majority are on the lawns between the Towers and the lake, some are on the pathway at water level on the white dam/bridge, the bigger, higher rockets and things will often be from from Her Ladyships Garden and behind the Towers, some are to the right of them by Altonville Mine Tours area.

What you saw with security at Dark Hollow is usually where they store all the fireworks before bringing them out to their launch areas.
 
And yet again we’re back to a pop music fest.

The lighting was awesome, a real difference to previous years, but last year showed that a strong story has much more of an impact than fireworks themed to the average person’s Spotify Most Played.

Not their best but certainly not their worst. The lighting was top notch though. And good, classy pyro at times too. Some clever placement of fixtures and I particularly enjoyed them shining straight up into the sky.

Maybe I’m in the minority who just wants a story. Ending was very sudden also, not the build up that usually occurs.

Just watched TPWW's upload.

Lighting was impressive, but the lighting rigs also obstructed the lower level lawn fireworks alot.

The finale was also massively underwhelming. . .usually you cant see the sky for the big mortars filling it up, this year it all came from the lawns in the form of a wall of crackles that covered up the sound of the music completely.

Apparently it was too windy for the large mortars last night and has to be remembered every night this year is different
 
Looking forward to watching the display tonight. Weather looks clear for today so we might get some more from last night.
Will be interesting to see if there actually are any changes to the display considering the claim it will be different every night.
It will be hard to top John Dalton fest last year. Even just the commitment of having the people standing on the rigging towers in the day with the fake guns. Theatrical brilliance right there!
