Flamingo Land: General Discussion

I’ll say that Flamingo Land does have an impressive selection of headline attractions for a “smaller” UK park. While the quality is at times debatable (*cough* Hero *cough*), 5 thrill coasters is not to be sniffed at for a non-Merlin coaster, and they have some good rides!
Sik is a very decent headline coaster, and Kumali isn’t half bad either, in my view. It’s certainly much better and smoother than Infusion, anyhow, although I’m going to see how Odyssey compares today…

I have noticed that when it comes to parks north of Birmingham, there is always a snobbery among many thoosies sometimes justified in how those parks are handled (FL I can see but perhaps from my own personal encounter is quite OTT) but mostly can have something of an anti-north feeling but many and I suspect if say Paultons had been based in the north than rather in the south it's goodwill might have not quite as high honestly but I digress.
Odyssey is great not as smooth as Kumali but an impressive ride nonetheless, drop is more impressive then Kumali, but Kumali has the better landscaping and themingI’ll say that Flamingo Land does have an impressive selection of headline attractions for a “smaller” UK park. Putting 2+2 together and getting 5 here methinks.
People will support parks that are improving themselves and generating good VIBES. Can't really say that Blackpool and Mingo are doing anything of the sort. LWV too early to tell but people are still miffed over losing t'Ultimate. Beyond that there's not a lot else to cheer about oop North.
Don't think it's snobbery. Just the parks aren't particularly good for their own reasons. Plenty of people hate Thorpe, Chessie and Lego after all.
