Future Flat Ride Speculation

Could it be the removal Flávio’s and Blade by any chance…?
it could be, maybe how Alton have to do it in the system but it would be strange as they both have new ride ID's (how queuetimes.com assigns a ride to a database) and they have no history (something you would expect them to have, although would probably be linked to a new ID),

the blades ID is 4624,
but both of the new ID's are: 14474 and 14476

also the blade and Flávio’s are still listed on queuetimes:

I think this is being read into far to much.

Any decent sized flat would have had some construction by now.
In an area like X-Sector or Dark Forest, we don’t necessarily know that there isn’t construction. Under GDO laws, Alton doesn’t have to tell us about rides below 25m, and neither of these areas have been open during the Pirate Takeover, so it’s very plausible that they could hide a spot of construction from us.

Many people have been getting drone footage of Toxicator. It would have appeared on those videos if that were the case.

It’s probably more that they’ve just assigned a new ID and are leaving it there so they can reuse at some point in the future.

most the drone videos only show forbiden valley, none shows DF, walliams world, X sector

Could just be Monorail park entrance and monorail plaza?
they are also listed.

it also can be quite quick for them to install a flat ride, Toxication has taken a while due to its unique structure, and once the foundations / bridge was done it took days for the rest to be build, foundation work also doesn't come up and isn't that apparent, so it may be easily hidden by trees and stuff.

edit: also consider they have the dungeons currently empty, if they retheme it they could open it a bit after toxication similar to sub terror, there is also the Flavio's spot, they could get another temporary ride to fill that spot.

One of them is probably “The Skyride (Towers Street)”. “Submit to the Spin” and “Toxicator” could have different IDs, not sure, depends when the app is updated you’ll find out. If they’re not different, then something else that requires a queue time is probably coming, whatever that might be. Nemesis Sub-Terra appeared as a random ID number well before it was announced to be reopening.

If there was anything to note they’d have showed it, but there wasn’t, so they focused on the construction.
DF, X sector etc is quite far, with the amount of trees surrounding the area they would have probably had to fly the drone over there or much higher to see much which would take time, and battery, if they were expecting not to see anything then why fly over.

also the done videos I have seen focus on Toxicator only, often not even showing if the blade is still there.

The people that fly drones over fly over the whole park purely to check out all areas. The reason it’s not included in the videos is because there is nothing to show so they focus on the areas that do have construction.

There is no point showing areas that have zero changes.

I would argue this doesn't make sense though, I think the likely story is that they were around the car park and flew the drone over just FV (it can take a while for a drone to cross the valley and you risk loosing the connection (due to trees))

Interesting things would be happening throughout the resort, construction equipment, man lifts etc will be spread about as a part of winder maintenance inspecting track, moving parts etc.

also why not show the video, even if you think it is boring why not show all of what you saw, you have the footage and then just give time stamps of when toxicator is shown, it takes nothing away and gives more video

edit:
also the rides could be build up in like the last month, flat rides can be built quick and as I said foundation work can be hidden by trees and not look too obvious. or they could build them mid season, or they could be opening temporary rides (such as funk and fly), or working on the dungeons

Also remember that by law you must fly the drone within line of sight at all times, so they won't be able to go too far from the car park.

If they are building additional flats, adding one depends on the amount of theming/work required. If they so wished, they could quite easily plonk a flat in, say, X-Sector within a few weeks since the foundations for Enterprise and Submission are already there.

if they were installing a like for like, assuming it has the same mounting points I think they could be able to plonk it on top, but I wonder what the state of the foundations are like as they may need to replace them due to wear, corrosion etc (also could do the same for blade, just plonk a new ride on the foundations and "plug" it in

Personally I very much doubt there is another new permanent flat ride in the works for 2025.

Perhaps a Blade replacement at a push, but even that is a long shot in my view.
I remain optimistic. There’s existing queue lines in X Sector, albeit they’d need a bit of clearing and jet washing. You could plonk and commission a Huss Breakdance on the Enterprise site in a matter of weeks without the installation having any effect on standard operations in X Sector.

Toxicator is obviously the “new for 2025” big marketing push, but they could easily add a supporting attraction as a mid season boost like they did with NST.

Maybe I’m too hopeful, but we’ll see!

I doubt we'll see new flats, either. It's not exactly the Merlin way to spend £££s on new rides without advertising them. Given the huge marketing for a top spin, why would they not go the same way for one or two other new rides?

I'm not convinced adding new rides midway through the season would significantly boost visitor numbers. NST and Hex appeared to be more financially driven decisions to open later in the season rather than a tactic to attract more visitors.

I would argue that NST and HEX aren't new rides, and neither were they advertised widely (ignoring enthusiasts) as opening mid season.

it is also important to remember that a lot of advertisement is most effective just before, to prevent people forgetting about it. you can advertise in December about a ride in march, but most people will have forgotten by then, Toxicator and Nemesis were known about before starting construction due to planning permission (and the fact it is a massive concert plinth) if rides were to open later, the best marketing would be to wait and revel it a bit before it opens.

The main reason I think it may be new rides was the rumoured 3 Huss ride deal. but I have said before it could be any new/SBNO attraction, new dungeons/charley/Toyland overlay, temporary ride for Flavio's, perhaps they have renovated the cinema, a lot of these we wouldn't know about

the amount of eyes on the place - trust me - If something was being built we would know about it

would we?
I think it would be really hard to find a drone video of X-sector in the last couple months, also the ride hardware getting installed is the quick part, foundations aren't very tall and probably not easy to notice if they have been installed (also they could be adding them throughout the season)
