I think the worst thing is how no matter what happens in their relationship, it will be covered by all of the media. They have sort of become celebrities. Yes, it was an unusual and unexpected accident, that's why it was covered so much, but why do this? Personally, I would HATE it. I know they have said that they don't mind talking about it, but give them some privacy. It's the articles about them getting a takeaway, or going to the cinema that annoy me the most. This isn't real news.
That is the media for you (as you said but it's so right)Well simply they've found a chance to make a quick bit of money and have taken it. I'd imagine they've made a fair bit of money from all these interviews over the weeks. I personally wouldn't want that attention but I can't blame Leah/Joe in some ways for making the most of the opportunity they have.
I do find it a bit saddening though that there are 14 other people who went through a horrific ordeal and they are not even mentioned, they don't exist. I'm sure some of those who were on the train do want to stay quiet and not have the media after them, although it's frustrating how by looking at the media you'd almost believe it was just two people on the train, and only two people affected by the crash.
But hey ho, that's mainstream media for you, it's always the same!
