    Hi,
I was wanting to plan a trip within the next month or so (basically while schools are still in term time) and was wondering when the best time to go would be?
Are there any trends in the week that make one day particularly less busy?
Is there a better time of the month?
I guess weather can play a big factor? But if its too bad will rides shut down?
Sorry for all the questions, I just want to go when the park is at its quietest :D
    Thanks

I've found Tuesdays to be a good bet. Preferably a dry one with light winds.

I can vouch for Tuesday's too. Weather as bad as possible, without the wind being so bad that it shuts rides down :)

Wednesdays are very quiet days at the moment ;)

Any day Monday to Thursday (inclusive but avoiding bank holidays or school holidays and school trips weeks leading up to the summer holidays) are all good days, do check the opening dates on line as the park is currently closed on Wednesdays.

Tuesday Shmoozeday. Always a Monday for me. Today was sublime if you want zero crowds (and zero atmosphere).

Zero crowds but a 40 minute queue on Galactica! The queue was up to the entrance, I watched two trains go round (a good few minutes apart) both with eleven riders on so I walked away. They can't have been getting more than 250 an hour, what a joke for a headline ride. Apart from that the queues were really small so yeah, Mondays are a good time to go.

I've been hammering my season pass, wanting to get on as many rides as possible before peak season. I can do more on a Tuesday afternoon than i can do in a whole day during busy times. I arrived at one pm the other week and got on seven coasters in just three hours.

I never post what I believe to be the best days on here, as people (including non forum members) will read these post and then everyone will turn up on a Tuesday tipping the balance the other way and it will become the busiest day. Any weekday are good days to visit.

I do find even on quieter days, the queues can still be just as long as they are either slower at dispatching or have less cars on the tracks. Thirteen you need a full load and often sending the trains around empty.

High pressure means long queues and a mass of families using their season passes.
Low pressure means shorter queues, faster coasters and a higher percentage of fellow geeks to be spotted!
Low pressure for me, every time.
