It's easily the least Merlin park out of the ones they happen to own... So it's actually probably in the right place
Glad I got the cred then... Though they probably won't remove it, they might be doing work on the Mine Ride because it's weirdly non-Lego for some reason... No idea what this might be...

Sounds interesting. What in the Merlin canon fits this description? Sub-Terra-lite possibly...?

Just before the end of the year I heard rumour that Legoland Billund's new ride was to be based on the Lego Monster Fighters sets. That certainly seems to be the case and Sam's prediction seems to be right on the money:

That's what you call a prototype model
Looks good to me.

Actually more like £4m, the fact sheet states that the ride itself is costing 36m DKK, whilst the hotel investments (possibly the worst looking Legoland hotel ever externally) raise it to the 80m DKK...
Though obviously as the ABC tower ride system is cheap as chips, it means lots of money can go towards the theming and effects involved in the interactive queue and mirror maze...

Could the drop towers just be the old ones from the old London Dungeons? Or do we know what has happened to them?
Anyway this looks like it could be a great little ride if it turns out anything like the lego model!

I thought I would post this in here, as this is our only Legoland Billund topic, but the park has announced a new family coaster from Zierer named Flyvende Ørn (Danish for Flying Eagle) to celebrate their 50th birthday. Not sure whether this is a custom Zierer or a clone, but the ride is going hand-in-hand with a refurbishment of the Legoredo area and the log flume. What do you guys think of this announcement? I personally think it will be a great fit for the park and continues Merlin’s recent rush for maintenance.

Not a good week for the Merlin umbrella.

Legoland: Fire destroys part of theme park in Denmark
A number of the replica buildings reportedly melted in a section of the park that features models based on structures including Kennedy Space Centre, the canals in Amsterdam and the Burj Khalifa skyscraper in Dubai.
