Legoland Billund seem to be up to something.

Posted on their Facebook. Spotted by CoasterClubDenmark! So, what will it be? :)

Edit: Ooops, this is Merlin right? Could a mod move it to Merlin please? :)

It's easily the least Merlin park out of the ones they happen to own... So it's actually probably in the right place ;)

Glad I got the cred then... Though they probably won't remove it, they might be doing work on the Mine Ride because it's weirdly non-Lego for some reason... No idea what this might be...

Hello with you now we can soon do not pull the tension anymore. In just three days promises we revealed the news 2014, and we welcome super much to reveal the for you.
As our Facebook fans, we share with you the surprise of course liiidt before everyone else, so you may well begin to delight you. :)

We can't tell so much yet, but I can believe that it will be "scary fun."

Sounds interesting. What in the Merlin canon fits this description? Sub-Terra-lite possibly...?

Lego doesn't tend to follow the Merlin way as their projects are done by a separate creative team, so could be anything.

Wow! Great! This is a £9m attraction!

Can't wait to go to LEGOLAND Billund in the summr!

:D

(Windsor FTL)

Actually more like £4m, the fact sheet states that the ride itself is costing 36m DKK, whilst the hotel investments (possibly the worst looking Legoland hotel ever externally) raise it to the 80m DKK...

Though obviously as the ABC tower ride system is cheap as chips, it means lots of money can go towards the theming and effects involved in the interactive queue and mirror maze...

Could the drop towers just be the old ones from the old London Dungeons? Or do we know what has happened to them?

Anyway this looks like it could be a great little ride if it turns out anything like the lego model!

Construction photos posted by CoasterClubDenmark, showing what a substantial new-build this project is!

I thought I would post this in here, as this is our only Legoland Billund topic, but the park has announced a new family coaster from Zierer named Flyvende Ørn (Danish for Flying Eagle) to celebrate their 50th birthday. Not sure whether this is a custom Zierer or a clone, but the ride is going hand-in-hand with a refurbishment of the Legoredo area and the log flume. What do you guys think of this announcement? I personally think it will be a great fit for the park and continues Merlin’s recent rush for maintenance.

it does look good. I think it's quite a small coaster, (think Dragons Apprentice in Windsor but a bit longer) so it'll be good for the younger kids.
