Not strictly Windsor-related, but Merlin announces the next new opening, LEGOLAND Sichuan:
I'm honestly surprised they haven't announced intentions to put one on the moon yet.
Waiting for the Lepin knock off to be built next door
New concept art released for the "World's First" DUPLO Dream Coaster:
Damn, just the people-eater that the world's most visited children's theme park needs. I knew they should have gone with that Dive Machine!!
Is this confirmed to be a Ba-a-a-Express clone?
I like the cattle pen que. Its got that classic merlin feel to it!
WOW, you've got to be beyond desperate and clutching at the marketing straws to use "World's First". Someone is on a salary and come up with that utter nonsense! What next. World first bin painted in this specific shade of yellow.
Looks the same layout as Ba-b-a from the concept art. By layout I basically mean it goes round in a circle

Kids are going to need some imagination to try and make that look good! Usually things don't look very good in person but at least the concepts look good. They haven't even managed that with this.
I don't mind it having a cattlepen though. With the space it's being crammed in to there's no other option.
Still a better layout than Rita.
Legoland desperatly need new rides, whether this is a good idea or not will be seen soon.
Meanwhile, Paultons have gone vertical on construction of their new coaster and barely a mention of it on any of the coaster forums.
Duplo coaster vs Mack Spinner. Different audiences but I know which will attract the most attention in 2020 - despite the 'world's first' tag Merlin are sure to apply
What world's first is this meant to have?
I don't think Legoland need more rides.
They need better capacity rides but the current line up is actually quite impressive. I consider The Dragon, Pirate Falls, Viking River Splash, Ninjago, Laser Raiders, Atlantis and tge Haunted House all as headline marketable rides. Add the collective of Driving and Boating School's as anouther and there's enough to justify a 2 day trip even without queues.
Where the park is lacking is presentation, which is something no amount of new rides can fix.
Has anyone noticed this coaster has 3 queue lines as well?! I'm sure that'll up the wait by a few hours
I think that is firmly tongue in cheek. If Merlins marketing dept could get away with it, they would!
I mean, it's accurate... there is no other DUPLO coaster in the world
Oh! They actually did. :-(
