Legoland Windsor

I'm sure it's being refurbished for sometime in the next few years (2027?) so if it comes back it'll be better than ever!

I know that because i'm a theme park nerd, the general public won't. An attraction has been inexplicably closed with no notice for an undetermined period of time in most people's eyes.

The ride is still listed on the main website as operating.

Something to watch out for in future is that Legoland don't really class themselves as a seasonal park anymore. Because there are now only a few weeks in the year that they are fully closed it has meant that projects that would have never happened during the main season (redoing the park entrance, replacing the 4D cinema, even land refurbishments like those going on in Pirates and Castle) now happens at any time during the year.

Winter maintenance for some rides is also happening outside of the closed days, but thankfully this is still limited to off peak months, so if you go in the main summer period you should still get a full ride lineup.

I agree that going forward if they are going to class themselves as a year round park they need to be far more open with the guests about what they can expect from their trip. Like how Disney highlight all their scheduled closures.

Funnily enough when i was looking on the website i did notice they have ride closures listed up till October.

So that’s good. But the 4D cinema seemingly didn’t qualify.
