Lock down purchases

Bought a Hybrid bike for £400 from Halfords and had to build it myself, screwed a pedal on the wrong way and broke the threading on the crank arm. Halfords can't fix it until 'after lockdown' so I've just sold it for £350 on eBay.
Maybe it's the lack of coasters but I'm itching for an adrenaline hit so I've just ordered a better off road Mountain Bike so I can go berserk in the woods.
I've also invested some of the money I've been saving while furloughed on The Football Index. With the major European leagues all coming back it's a good time to invest. Would definitely recommend it if you've got a good knowledge of the game.

In terms of unusual purchases, I've placed many orders from Brewdog.
Also bought this Lego beauty. Has all the gadgets built in;

Well I’ve been doing rather well. I was quite proud of how sensible I’ve been. Managed to talk myself out of buying a hot tub and have been saving quite a bit by working from home.
That was until this week where it’s all gone to pot...
After several weekends of pottering in the garden and planting flowers I decided that I needed to boost my ManCreds, so bought an excessive stainless steel gas barbecue and am now in the process of buying a new car... It was all going so well!

Wow! Congratulations!!I felt good as I have bought significantly less stuff than I would normally (my only clothes shopping treat has been some underwear) and due to no commute and no eating out I've saved a lot of money. So we're buying a house!

Silly grown up thing like gas electric and food. It’s surprising how much working from home cost! That and chocolate. Lots of chocolate. Oh and cat toys.
