Does anyone find it funny how Merlin have been investing in the resort side of Towers yet they have one part time hotel and now an SBNO high ropes course?!

I can name examples with buisnesses way smaller than Merlin within Staffordshire that still manage to keep making a healthy profit yet the second largest theme park company can't with their flagship park? How does that work? :confused:

Yes just checked and no mention of it on ticket page. Is there anything going to be open? What the hell are hotel guests going to do after 3:30?! How do they expect to sell he ridiculously over priced rooms with cuts like this? It just doesn’t make any sense!

I’ve some precious and amazing memories of towers, this all just makes me a bit sad inside.

The waterpark is apparently open until 6pm. Also, the theme park should be open until 5pm on weekends if last year is anything to go by.
 
I feel most for the staff who will have had their hours dramatically sliced.

*unless you work in Forbidden Valley or Gloomy Wood, where you won't need an alarm clock as you'll be able to have a lie in and still get to work on time.
 
Just a question; I know that the sources for the stuff about Tree Top Quest and 3:30 closings are very credible, but have the Resort themselves actually confirmed this?
 
So if it's a case of SW8 or a park with decent opening times and all rides open, I know what I would choose. This news has totally taken any excitement out of the new ride.
