Memeable Thoosie Traits

Wearing Voltron Merch in the Hyperia queue line

Realising that not all Theme Parks in the UK are Merlin Parks.

Knowing the difference between a B&M Invert and a Vekoma SLC

Understanding what a Single Rider queue is and that it's not a fast track.

Talking to me about Ride to Happiness, Zadra, Untamed, Voltron, Taron etc.

Chiapas is the holy grail of Water Rides

Knowing that Rapids Rides can get you wet and are not glorified lazy rivers 🤔

Knowing that overseas theme parks can be a superior experience compared to it's UK counterparts.

Aware that Paultons Park is more than Peppa Pig World and is more like Chessington

I'll be sure to think of more to add 🤣

Cred's a cred - as I fold myself into some horrendous contraption with a questionable safety record.

Can confirm - made sure to do the creds at Tivoli Gardens in such an order so as to make Rutschebanen my 200th cred. No regrets.

Or making the original Wacky Worm #300. Not me 👀

Worshipping Arrow when a lot of the things they made were utter ****

Worshipping RtH as the Thoosie Cult around it demands you to.

Thinking that every girl on Tinder who says they're attracted to nerdy guys, will be interested in your collection of theme park memorabilia, when all they really wanted was a guy who's seen a few Marvel films.
No. No, they don’t want a nerdy guy.

Thinking you know how to run a ride better than trained ride staff
I think that depends on the context really

Quite a few enthusiasts tend to be ride hosts and operators themselves and those who aren't tend to be at parks (both at home and overseas) very often that they know what is good practice or not.

I certainly could understand it for the enthusiast who only goes to a Merlin park once or twice a year and watches Theme Park Worldwide or Digital Dan most of the year. This is probably a bit of a stereotype though.

One trait I'll add, though
  • Hating on Merlin parks only to visit a Parque Reuinidos park in Europe to find it's worse and Merlin parks are ok in comparison to those ones 😭
