Come to think of it, wouldn't it be easier to get an earlier train to Uttox, say the 7.50 one, so that we'll be able to get on resort for about half 8 and then meet up with everyone else?

Just as Liam said, there's usually taxi's waiting there all day anyways, so we'll be able to get one nice and easy.
 
I won't be able to get there any earlier, I'm afraid. Besides we can still meet everyone as the park won't open until 10 anyway.
 
Oh okay, that's fine! In that case then, wouldn't it just be easier to get the bus from Uttox station?

People will start queuing for The Smiler from about 9 onwards, that's the only problem!
 
The Park opens at 9am for ERT that annual pass holders can access. The 32A would be murder tomorrow I imagine, I'd get a taxi to be honest :)

With the bus, it depends on how many people are at the station - there's the chance it could fill up. A taxi will be much quicker too. Not sure what time people will be let into the park, and the queueing will start. The earlier we get there the better, so train and taxi should get us there for 9:30. That should be more than fine.
 
I *might* be able to make the earlier train but I'm not holding my breath, does a bus run at that time as well? :S
 
The first 32A from Uttox. station up to towers is at something like 9.15 unfortunately.
 
Nope, the first bus is at 9.12am I believe. If we got there that early, we'd have to get a taxi. :)

We may aswell just get there for the originally discussed time -9.05am- then get a taxi! It seems the easiest option!
 
For those that can be there early, the plan is to meet in Splash at 8am. I have updated the first post with details.

Is the plan to start queuing for The Smiler from 9am onwards? If so, what's the plan with people who are turning up a little later than that? :)

Always a difficult one, I guess there will be a meeting point in the afternoon, just after lunch or before, for a group photo. I guess most people are going to head straight to the Smiler, and there will be a few who want to re-ride it.

I guess that people will want to ride The Smiler as soon as they arrive. I will be heading (jogging, maybe running ;) ) to The Smiler at 9am to start queuing for it. So I suggest that people do ride The Smiler first, then we can all meet after lunch maybe around The Smiler for a group photo.

I shall try and post a time for a group photo later on this evening.

If ride close is extended can you wait for the last ride of the day until I arrive panting after running down Towers Street to x-Sector at 5:30ish?

If anyone is arriving at Derby before 7.30, I have space for 1 (2 at a squash) spaces in my car, must be arriving at 7.30 or earlier.

Sadly I'm driving up tomorrow with whether like this, so will be arriving around 7.45
 
I'm out I'm afraid guys, been invited to another trip on the Sunday, and can't justify both days on park, especially given how busy I'm expecting it to be.

I'll be there, probably won't be able to get there for 8, but hope to be on the entrance plaza before 9am.
