Monday 14th July Any Ideas

I'm due to go tomorrow to Alton Towers, its been a good few years now probably say at least 4 years since i've been, me and a mate deliberately booked this for a Monday I believe this is just before the schools break up so should be a reasonable quiet day.

sorry if i'm being daft but am i right in thinking this, really don'f fancy queing for hours.

Probably extremely busy with school groups I'm afraid.
If you don't want to queue for hours, either email customer services, who will happily shift your booking, or buy fasttrack.
Queues for all the coasters will be an hour plus probably.

Yeah I’ll be honest, you’ve probably chosen one of the busiest weeks of the whole year to go - the week before schools break up will be absolutely PACKED with school trips!

As above it’s going to be busy. You are likely looking at 1hour+ queues for the major coasters.

If you can’t move your date then definitely arrive early, say 9am so you can be in the park and ready for rides opening at 10am before the coaches arrive and stay late.

The queue lines close at 6pm and the kids will generally start to leave from 4pm-ish so queues will drop at the end of the day.

As pretty much everyone has said, it will likely be rammed, I’m afraid. If at all possible, I would honestly move your date to a weekend at this time of year.

If that’s not possible, I would just make sure that you do a few things to optimise your day as much as possible.

If I were you, I’d think about starting in Dark Forest; particularly with Rita out of action, I’d imagine not many will be making a beeline for that area first thing in the morning. So you could get on Thirteen relatively quickly!

I’d maybe think about doing Spinball and Wicker Man around lunchtime, as it’s when the least people are likely to be near the entrance, and I’d maybe finish in Forbidden Valley, as you can make a quick escape to your car out of the Galactica gate at the end of the day!
