Most spurious/obscure theme park “world’s first” or record claim?

There's a very old Bill Bailey bit about spurious "records", (specifically, the record for attaching the most clothes pegs to your face), that culminates in,
"all you'd have to to do beat him.... is have a bigger face".

My first thought was that doing 120 coasters in that time frame was wholly unspectacular, though I guess with it being in the UK the logistics are somewhat more complicated than doing the same thing in the US. Over here you'd have to do multiple days of doing 4 or more seaside parks each with nothing bigger than a big apple

Must have friends in the media for getting so much publicity for nothing out of the ordinary when it comes to riding rollercoasters.

Still of its more eyes and interest on theme parks etc hopefully it's good for them as well.

It was on the news this morning that there might be a beer shortage in the next few weeks. Apparently Guinness has shut down production while all the workers gather together for an emergency conference to decide whether powered coasters actually count as coasters in the most coasters in a week record.

Bored I earlier worked out that my Germany trip 11 years ago involved 54 separate roller coasters. 55 if I counted Butterflies.

And that wasn't a particularly onerous cred run either.

It does seem a strange record considering the 24hr record is 74 difference coasters.
