It's the next step up from iMovie, and whilst nowhere near as powerful as Final Cut Pro, it does me for anything I need to do in terms of my (basic) video editing needs
Only thing to bear in mind is that it's now discontinued, and whilst I can get it working fine on Mavericks, no guarantee is made it'll run on Yosemite

Anyway, I've just downloaded the trial version of Adobe Premiere Elements 13 and I'm a bit in love! So simple and easy to use, and for £60, why not? It's my birthday in just over a month, so I'll put any birthday money I get towards it. :3
