earlier today, i visited the NFA, which is situated in the University of Sheffield's Western Bank Libary. the Archive contains books, magazines and audio to do with funfairs, theme parks, and circuses, etc.
i found information about it on the Library's website, while planing a visit to the library. the NFA is really intersing to look around, and we spent almost two hours browsing it's items!

to go there, non-students can purchase a free "Visitor's Day Pass" from the desk next to the turnstiles.
there are also visitor library cards available for non-students who want to visit the Library regularly.

I'd never heard of the NFA before, even though it's just down the road from me!
it's well worth a visit for enthusiasts like us, and the man who runs it is really nice.
