Nemesis: Sub-Terra

There were no actors in the exit section yesterday either unfortunately.

They usually utilise them around the park for Scarefest so probably why you won’t see them in there during Halloween. Thorpe do the same with Ghost train and Walking dead.

seems a bit backward if anything there should be more at scarefest but i guess its staffing issues

Staff were sweeping the que line this morning in phalanx uniform at 9am yet it was still on a staggered opening

Yes, because it’s not due to staffing cuts. It’s due to technical service team being lower on staff so they’re staggering the times to allow them to sign off rides.

If they were cutting staff they’d utilise the staggered times to start the rides teams later, but they aren’t. They’re merely using thier extra time for extra cleaning.

Yes, it’s frustrating but better to be forewarned it’s opening later than expect 10am and it not be.

Also means if tech are able to sign the ride off sooner, the rides team are they’re and ready to open it early.

It really meant later as well. We were walking out of Forbidden Valley at 6:30 and that’s when it opened for the first time so I grabbed a ride. It’s in a dreadful state. Only 3 towers in operation, no end lift effects and not even any strobing in the last corridor. There’s obviously been an issue with it today, but it’s in the worst state I’ve ever ridden it in

Interesting! Strange that still only 3 towers are in operation, I believe it’s Tower 3 that’s currently broken if it was the same one as in September. That and the lifts should have really been fixed in the closed season.

the towers are quite unreliable. it is the only ride I have ever been evaced from. and I currently have an evac count of 3!

I don't think I have seen the strobes on since they reopened in 2023, although I could be miss remembering.

the exit lifts are also temperamental, sometimes effects in one, sometimes full effects.

I really do enjoy this ride it is amazing (even when some effects like the lifts don't work) I just wish it was more reliable and more consistent, it used to be one of the rides I did every time I was in the park (back in 2023 when FV was much more quiet) but currently the queue gets really long

The strobes definitely have been on on every visit I’ve had apart from today since it reopened. No actor at the end makes it even more miserable. Was one of my favourite rides on park, not so much in its current state

Better than the ride I had last Sunday.

The entire egg/drop sequence had no audio and the lights stayed on for the entirety of it. Was really surprised no one said anything to us as we were leaving about things not working as expected.

Glad to hear it at least seems to be a one off and they’re not just running the ride like that generally…

I thought the drop was just as forceful, but I agree on operations. Painfully bad yesterday. Stood in the pre-show room for at least 10 minutes I'd say and it was boiling hot in there
