With The Smiler's future still in question (will it be re-branded, re-themed, relocated... 
) I thought I'd have a play and see what I'd do to re-invent the ride.
I've always loved SteamPunk, so naturally I would love to see a ride with this theme. Simple alterations to The Smiler shown here are cladding all the concrete walls with brick or steel effect sheeting (in the same way as Thirteen's "castle"), weathering of the marmaliser to rustic brown and adding a couple of chimneys to the station. Lots more could be done, and I'll probably have a play with these ideas later...
