Obscure UK Parks

Whilst I do of course hope that they find a buyer and that the park can continue to operate, I believe that Greenwood is one of those parks where they won’t let you in unless you have a child. Quite difficult to have any sympathy for a park with this rule in place.

Does Greenwood include the freehold though? With Lightwater Valley they're having to pay quite a bit to lease the land it sits on.
No idea, but I'd imagine there is a boatload of money to be made from LWV if they get it right. This place I'm not so sure.

They’re shooting themselves in the foot, as this is exactly the kind of park that would have a reasonably high proportion of visitors being enthusiasts due to its low visitor numbers.

As with all parks like this, they ought to at least have a few days a year for adults.

You say that, but the last mention of the park on this forum before this week is Jan ‘21.

I've been to Greenwood and there is very, very little an adult could actually do. The only ride aside from the coaster is a set of waterslides. Beyond that, it's mostly play areas and pedal karts.
