Paultons Park: General Discussion

Which in that case, Helios would definitely be a Big Dipper, even with a similar design to the Stryker trains. When I spoke to management at Fantasiana, it was stated there, that Big Dipper and Stryker only refer to the trains and not the track or ride system. The trains themselves dictate the difference.
Weird but that's what I was told.
The Big Dipper trains are Eurofighter like trains whilst a Stryker is more like an Infinity Coaster from Gerstlauer.

Without wanting to drag this further off topic, Helios has the Stryker trains albeit 2 rows rather than the 4 rows found on Voltron. The design of those trains is fundamentally different to the design of the Big Dipper trains.Which in that case, Helios would definitely be a Big Dipper, even with a similar design to the Stryker trains.

I'd love Paultons to get a family thrill Mack Big Dipper/Stryker. Not sure I see that happening though.

We already have a great infinity Coaster in the Smiler. If it is Gerstlauer they have such a great array of family coasters like Firlefranz, Wakala, and Pegase Express.
Or maybe a step up and something like Mystic, Gold rush, or Fury. Then we'd finally have a good Infinity coaster in the UK.
I would love it to be either Gerstlauer or Intamin a Multi Launch of some sort maybe like Mecalodon, Pegase Express, Wakala and countless others. And Intamin Lift and Launch would also fit Paultons well.
I also think it might not be a family coaster but thrill. Something like Cheetah Hunt thrill level.
We will just have to wait and see

There's a really nicely-themed Viking family Gerst at Hansa Park 'Die Schlange Von Midgard' that includes a small dark section - it's a very mild coaster but with some additions it's something that would be at home at Paulton's.If it is Gerstlauer they have such a great array of family coasters like Firlefranz, Wakala, and Pegase Express.

Not long until we find out now! Part of me was wondering if it's the flat ride that might be the next level up for thrill rather than the coaster!
Paultons don't need a very mild coaster, they already have plenty of those, it needs to be a step up in terms of thrills or there's no point. There's a really nicely-themed Viking family Gerst at Hansa Park 'Die Schlange Von Midgard' that includes a small dark section - it's a very mild coaster but with some additions it's something that would be at home at Paulton's.

I kinda of hope it's not another Gerst shopping trolly, we already have a few of those in the UK. Still hoping it's an Intamin

There's only one type of family coaster I'd say they'd consider getting and that would be a Mack Powered Coaster as they're very well covered for family coasters.Paultons don't need a very mild coaster, they already have plenty of those, it needs to be a step up in terms of thrills or there's no point.

Other than that, I'd say it would ideally be at least family thrill or thrill.
I'm still quite firmly believing it'll be a thrill coaster (likely in the same vein as Cheetah Hunt).

My money is on either an Intamin Hot Racer or the new family LSM coaster model.
Wouldn't that be nice!
I predict an Aquatrax.
