Carpet fitters were supposed to put the finishing touches to our bedroom today.
Amazing. They brought the wrong carpet. Too small and wrong colour. Who knows how long this will take to rectify now?
You couldn't script it. I'm living in a bloody Fawlty Towers episode.
Ten weeks and counting without a bedroom.

A vent in your bedroom??We finally have a carpet!
... So naturally, after all painting, carpet, and other finishing touches are done, NOW they say "we need to come back next week and knock a hole through the wall to install a vent".![]()

Even worse is the eBay generative AI descriptions that take the small amount of information in the item specifics and just add unnecessary words around it!I unlocked a new pet hate yesterday.
People giving poor descriptions of items on eBay. I was looking for an item and not one of the first 5 items I clicked on had a good description. A lot of people are just too lazy to write any kind of description at all and just use the stock Ebay description of what the item actually is. Yeah, I already know what it does, that's why I'm attempting to buy it! Others just use a 2 word description like "Good condition". I don't wanna be funny, but when it's an electrical item worth several hundred quid I'd like to know a bit about how much it's been used, is it boxed etc etc. Just part of the worsening of everything I suppose, and more and more stupid people gaining access to the internet. Lazy gits.
