Plopsaland Belgium: General Discussion

How did that work? Surely you politely ask folk to vacate the seats if your next to ride?

It was most prominent on Wild Swing as the op would only let enough people through the gate to fill the remaining gaps. Again was a bit awkward as people wouldn't maximise seating space... but as it was only another 2-3 minute wait i don't think anyone was particularly bothered.

Happened on Heidi too so the people at those air gates just had to wait for the next cycle.

I only observed them letting people do one re-ride cycle in fairness. Personally i think if there's anyone waiting you should send people round the queue again, especially with the Wild Swing which was a very short walk. But more understandable on the coasters with all the stairs.

One time on Wild Swing my son wanted to go straight back on but i don't like to let him do re-rides as it sets a level of expectation and he won't understand why it doesn't happen again. The operator kindly held the ride for us to walk back round though.

The main coasters were (understandably) on one train. I don't know if they ever have batchers as it was a free for all on the coasters which meant they often departed with empty seats that hadn't been filled. Did mean you could easily pick your seat if you didn't mind waiting 1 or 2 cycles so we got front row on RtH, Heidi and Anubis. Actually back row on Heidi was far more popular.

I’m constantly amazed that more people in the S of England haven’t discovered Plopsaland. Less than an hour’s drive from the far end of the Shuttle and one of the best coasters in the world is currently sitting on a 10minute wait. Bonkers.

Just a shame I live 400miles from Folkestone 🙁

The ride ops of RtH were hesitant to allow re-rides on my last visit. But once it was established that we were enthusiasts, they didn’t mind us staying on. Albeit moving seats if someone was waiting in the airgate for the same row.
