Plopsaland De Panne General Discussion

So Belgium parks have reopened today. However indoor rides must remain closed and indoor queues are also not allowed (unless it’s for a short amount of time, eg getting on a coaster). At Plopsaland it seems they have turned their teacup ride into a restaurant for hotel guests apparently. I’m assuming this is probably temporary as they can’t open the ride, but it’s certainly rather random!

Looks brilliant IMO.

Wow, what a cool and original use of resources! Great idea, Plopsaland!

"Day guests barred from popular Tea Cup ride due to people who have spent more money and stayed in the hotel"

I mean, it looks cool I guess...

I mean, better than just leaving it closed off I guess. Plus if it's anything like the UK with closed food outlets then increased capacity in that department would also be welcome

I bet it will cost a fortune to eat/drink in there, but it does look cool.

The cost of food and drink at all of the Plopsa parks is extortionate, even by theme park standards.

We now have a POV of Ride to Happiness:

Wow; I’ve got to say, it looks absolutely phenomenal! Surprisingly intense in places for a Mack, as well!

In fact, while I know it’s hard to judge a coaster prior to riding, I actually think this looks more fun than the Silver Dollar City prototype, personally!

Also, it’s been reported that the brakes of the rotation are still fully open, meaning that the ride is a free-spinning coaster. The maximum negative g-force is also -1.62G, which I’ve got to say seems incredibly high!

Initially I thought the layout looked odd and not in a good way. But seeing it with the spinning I think it really does work! It'll be interesting hearing from people that have ridden it.

That looks fantastic, and the onboard audio undoubtedly adds an extra element to the ride (as it always does). Pacing seems to be spot on and I agree that it does look to be a better layout than the very good Time Traveler.
