Musical discussion? Can I say I dislike Daft Punk here without getting stabbed?

You're not the only one. The previous albums have done nothing for me, but listening to Random Access Memories is a much different experience for me. Much funkier, and I've enjoyed the first three songs that I've heard from the album. So yeah, I guess the lesson learnt is to give everything a chance.

In my eyes, Daft Punk are okay. Good music but not the amazing stuff that everyone says they are! They just know how to create upbeat music that the majority of people can enjoy, due to the predictable chord sequences and catchy melodies.

I like them, but I'm not obsessed with them.

I have recently discovered that some of the best and most moving music I've heard have been in some really obscure musical theatre shows.
