No problem, I know that feeling - especially when I'm more of a kid then they are at Towers!Thank you that’s great as daughter rarely likes to be seen with us![]()
Have a great day there when you go!
Quick question. Going to Towers on Friday. I understand you can enter the park from 9am but that the rides start at 10. Do people really start queueing for rides from 9am? Thinking of heading straight to Wickerman around 09:45 but will the pre-queue already be really long?
You could probably expect a 20-30 minute wait at a guess, maybe longer if it’s busy.Quick question. Going to Towers on Friday. Now Rita’s back open I’d recommend getting both Rita and Thirteen done almost straight away, and mop up Wicker Man later in the day, it’s one of the less fluctuating coaster queues and stays relatively constant throughout the day.

Yes they do, especially for The Smiler and Wickerman. They open the extended queue at the outside of the entrances so the queue you see is not already filling the normal queue line and overflowing!Quick question. Going to Towers on Friday. As @Mick says, you may well wait 20mins until the ride opens but if it opens on time you'll be on one of the first trains and could be off the ride within the first 10 mins of the official opening time

My advice is always head to Rita or Dark Forest as they are usually quiet first thing, majority of guests seem to head to wicker man or Smiler first.

How busy is the park usually on the upcoming BH Monday?

Not as busy as everyone expects. Because people think it’s busy they stay away and also most annual passes are blocked. How busy is the park usually on the upcoming BH Monday?
For years now I’ve thought people must cotton onto this and start visiting on bank holidays, but it never seems to happen. Not as busy as everyone expects. Because people think it’s busy they stay away and also most annual passes are blocked.
It’ll be an enjoyable long day with a 7pm ride close, and coaster queue times less than 45 minutes as always on the August BH!

Just go through the Galactica Gate.Probably a dumb question, but if you park near the monorail station on a busy morning, is it generally faster to just walk or take the monorail?

That's not possible unless you are also a hotel guest, they will ask to see your booking details.Just go through the Galactica Gate.
Depends how long the queue for the monorail is and the number of trains on. It's quite a long walk, but getting the monorail often isn't much quicker - it does, however, preserve the legs at the start of a day that's likely going to involve a LOT of walking!

Does anyone have any idea when pre-books for Fireworks for ATAP holders will be available? Just renewed my ATAP with the aim of getting my Fireworks pre-books sorted, but no joy.
Already available I think.

Well, they really buried that. And annoyingly, I can't book multiple dates on the one transaction because of a duplicated Pass number. Erm, of course it's duplicated, you muppets - I'm trying to book three days at once! Gonna have to do them one by one, which is a real pain.Already available I think.
