Quick Questions

The last couple of times I drove into Alton Towers, I’ve seen some old stuff being “stored” in the area behind x sector. Earlier this year I saw Oktoberfest signs, this afternoon I saw what appears to be a ride train

Has anyone ever peeked around there and taken photos/shot a YouTube video? It seems a prime place to see old stuff. Is it a pain to get to?

Bit of a bump but this video might be of interest.

Interesting angle of Dungeons building don't know how much the building itself behind the scenes has changed since its around the world in 80 days version

I have a few queries arising from that video.

Firstly, how would they have gone down that road? Wouldn’t they have had to enter through the employee entrance?

Secondly, is that the back end of the Dungeons building that we see at one point? I’ve never seen that perspective before, or the area around the Flag Tower!

As much as them entering those roads probably isn’t explicitly kosher from a guest safety standpoint and I probably shouldn’t condone it (albeit it does seem as though they protect ride areas every bit as much as in the guest accessible areas), it is nonetheless interesting to see some different angles of parts of the park! I found the shots of Thirteen and Rita a particularly interesting angle; I’ve never seen those angles before!

It's been many years since I've driven up this road myself, but it used to be doable even by turning left/right at the main intersection, and then continuing past the employee entrance and security office. Technically, there's Strictly No Access beyond that point, but realistically, dozens of vehicles pass through hourly on a busy day, and it's hardly the Korean Demilitarized Zone in terms of checks.

I still wouldn't advise it, though! Mainly, as it really is just trees and bins.
