I’ve always thought that Towers should make more of their characters, so it’s great to see these new decorations making their way around the park. It’s also great to see the decorations expanding past Towers Street into the Mutiny Bay and Foundation Square areas. The park should have a good vibe to it this year, but ultimately the success of Scarefest will depend on the quality of the attractions and shows and the reliability of the rides.

The new ride pumpkins are on the lawns as well, there's a new one for Nemesis Reborn and I think Galactica might be slightly different as well (colour wise) but not 100% sure.
Dark Hollow looks like it starts on the Towers side of the 13 pathway and veers off into the wooded path behind perhaps?

I shouldn’t double post but this is a separate point
It’s the staff previews and the scare attractions are currently open. Somebody online has posted that Edge of the Forest is one of the best scare attractions they’ve done, and also that Dark Hollow is very good

Can you get a photo of the pumpkins? I'm interested! The new ride pumpkins are on the lawns as well, there's a new one for Nemesis Reborn and I think Galactica might be slightly different as well (colour wise) but not 100% sure.

Glad they're utilising the Freaky Friends more this year. The props look built to last and have popped up in a few places, so they should be able to just add two or three new ones a year and pretty quickly there's something Scarefest related throughout the park without breaking the bank.
Stuff like this is perfect.

If you toggle attractions it’s the correct set, but if you toggle Scarefest it’s last years (well, the ones that haven’t returned anyway)The app has updated, but it looks like last years version

Would be nice if Galactica had a track full repaint into the Blue, Black and Blue would be nice contrast in Forbidden Valley Galactica and back when it was Air always the lighter theme to contrast Nemesis

Wow so much new theming going up this year!
Love the smiler figure!
They actually must have the left over “smiler takeover” theming stored somewhere? That was quite creepy as well as the invitation que line theming, which would look great on Towers Street. Unless they’ve utilized somehow in one of the new scare zones or mazes?
Love to see there storage, probs absolutely terrifying on a staff graveyard shift.

I initially thought some of the theming behind the Gretyl character that they've got outside X Sector was from that event but now I'm not sure if it's that or notWow so much new theming going up this year!

This Scarefest feels so much more active then for many years a Scare Zone in X Sector would of been coolWow so much new theming going up this year!

Gretyl and Vampurr theming pieces have been put in front of the Katanga Canyon sign, nice to see it seems to be going park wide

So far we've got:
The remade hearse from last year at the bottom of Towers Street
Franklin/signpost for the Courtyard Tavern.
Marmalised Gretyl on the path into X-Sector.
Franklin filling up the fountain in Fountain Square
Zombob and Phil putting up bunting on the Towers.
Patch and Skelvin coming out of the coffins on the path between Battle Galleons and the Towers
Patch's Pumpkin Delivery float on the Towers lawns
Gretyl and Vampurr sitting on the bank in front of the Katanga Canyon sign.
That's a pretty big jump in the Freaky Friends' on-park presence in the space of a year. I guess even the higher ups couldn't ignore the amount of merch they shifted with the characters on.
The marmalised Gretyl includes one of the Smiler pumpkins, so I wonder if we'll end up with similar pieces for the others at some point

Looks like the mazes will have their queue times listed on the app and park queue boards this year, which could be useful!
Also, the three thrill mazes all have one shot Fastrack available, at just £5 pp. A valid maze combo or one shot entry ticket is required, of course. They can be purchased on the app or at the park.
