Every time I search for a waterpark near me, I have to drive miles and miles away. I wish there was one nearby. Anyway, don't anyone else think we need more water parks than swimming pools as people enjoy them more?

Quite a few have closed down in recent years. Aquasplash in Hemel, Rhyl Suncentre (I don't count SC2), Wet n Wild North Shields. Generally I think they struggle to be profitable.

This topic is probaly in the wrong place - its not really an Alton Towers point.

But there are several waterparks, Sandcastle in Blackpool, Waterworld in Stoke, Alton Towers waterpark, The Wave in Coventry.
Plus the new one opening in Manchester as discussed in this topic.
